Public Comment Period: Proposed 2022 Driver Education SOL
November 18, 2021, the Virginia Board of Education received for first review the proposed revisions to the 2015 Driver Education Standards of Learning (SOL). The proposed 2022 Driver Education SOL for Virginia Public Schools have been refined through feedback from parents, teachers, administrators, and representatives from higher education, and define the skills and competencies necessary to become a proficient user of the highway transportation system. Public comments regarding the proposed 2022 Driver Education SOL will be received at vdoe.stem@doe.virginia.gov from Dec. 17, 2021–Jan. 31, 2022. Public Comment Period: Proposed Data Science SOL and Curriculum Framework
On November 18, 2021, the Virginia Board of Education received for first review the proposed Data Science Standards of Learning (SOL) and Curriculum Framework. The proposed Standards would be an addition to the current 2016 Mathematics SOL.
