Summer will be here before we know it, and DPS has tons of summer learning opportunities for our students! Whether they're interested in coding, fine arts, or STEM, there's something for everyone. All programs are free, and transportation and meals are provided. Register your child by April 22 here.

See below for all of our options:

Option 1: Cyber Camp - Cyber Camp will provide students with opportunities to explore and learn computer coding. Activities will engage students and encourage them to think creatively and build confidence in problem-solving skills.

June 13-18, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Grades 3-5)

June 20-23, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Grades 6-8)

Option 2: Project Invention (Grades 6-8) - Provides students with hands-on STEM Activities.

June 13-16, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Option 3: Camp Invention (Grades K-5) - Provides students with hands-on STEM Activities

June 20-23, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Option 4: Fine Arts/Creative Arts Camp (Grades K-8) - Provides enrichment opportunities in art, music, band, orchestra, foreign language, and drama.

June 13-16 and June 20-23, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Option 5: Dual Language/Immersion Camp (Grades K-5) - This camp is a dual-language English/Spanish summer program for ELs that will focus on enrichment opportunities for English Language Learners.

Option 6: Camp Kaleidoscope (Grades 6-12) - Provides students with disabilities enrichment opportunities for academic and social skills.

Option 7: Summer School: New Credit (Rising 9-12 Graders) - Provides the opportunity to earn a new credit in a course.

Option 8: Project-Based Learning Camp (Grades 3-8) - Provides the opportunity to work collaboratively to research needs, collect data, plan, and implement projects.

June 27-30, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Option 9: Transition Academy (Rising 9th Graders) - Provides rising high school freshmen with critical skills to be successful in high school. Students will engage in transition activities and preview high school content.

Option 10: Jumpstart (Rising K-8th Graders) - Provides students with engaging instruction in reading and mathematics to prepare for entry into the next grade. Students will engage in FUN problem-based learning activities.

July 25-29, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
