I was born and raised in Danville and attended both Bonner and GW before I graduated as valedictorian in 1991.  I attended Duke University and graduated in 1995.  Since then, I worked for ~25 years as a software engineer for companies such as Amazon and REI as well as multiple startups.  In 2021, after the sale of a company I helped build, I decided to leave software engineering to go to culinary school where I studied baking bread and pastry.  I originally moved back to Danville in 2022 to open a bakery, but after working as a math tutor, I fell in love with mathematics education.  I am excited to be your algebra instructor, and I will go above and beyond to make sure you are successful in your study of mathematics because you deserve nothing less.
