Hello!  My name is Mr. Vaughan and I will be teaching social studies at Rise Academy this year.  This will be my 22nd year of teaching.  I grew up in South Boston and have taught in VA and NC. I love sports.  My favorite teams are the L.A. Dodgers, Chicago Bears, and the Virginia Cavaliers(even though I graduated from Longwood).  I look forward to a great school year!
