Greetings Activ8 Families! My name is Schwaan Rowell and I am Activ8 Stem Academy's Third Grade Reading Teacher. In 2017 I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Dual Degree of Bachelors of Arts in English Literature and Dance and Performing Arts. I served two years as a Literacy Tutor for Americorps Literacy Lab in both Norfolk and Danville Public Schools.

I am thrilled to start the school year and meet the first Third Graders of Activ8.
