Welcome to 6th grade at Westwood Middle School! This will be my fourth year teaching mathematics with DPS. I will be your grade 6 math instructor this year. I look forward to cultivating a relationship with all of my students and helping them succeed academically. 

A little about me: 

-I have 5 year old twin boys. 

-I love spending time with family and friends, studying theology, reading, shopping, math (obviously) and doing my nails when I have time. 

-Shows/Movies I love: Star Wars, Marvel Universe, Stranger Things 

-Fun Fact: I used to absolutely HATE math until I had an awesome professor in the freshman year of my undergrad--completely opened my mind.

Mathematics is a passion of mine now; I can’t wait to share my knowledge and passion with my students. Math is the language of the universe, which helps us understand our surroundings as well as think abstractly (and sometimes simply) about complex ideas. As Albert Einstein once said, "Pure mathematics is, in its own way, the poetry of logical ideas."
