Welcome to Second Grade!

I am so excited to work with you all this year. Collaboration, team work, safety, and warmth are essential for success. Through your help, I know we are going to have a successful year. 

A little about me:

You can be assured that I will be focusing on emotional well-being, emotional regulation, and safety in my classroom. I love to practice coping skills and self-check ins. If you are familiar with Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, you will know that we must feel love, safety, and care before we can excel in our educational lives. I want to make sure each and every student knows how precious and cared for they are when they step into this classroom. 

I am a mother of two young ones (5 and 6 years old), so I love working with children with care and warmth. Additionally, I am recently engaged! With an engagement, my new career with DPS, and a house being built, I have so many blessings to celebrate. I cannot wait to celebrate the joys in your lives as we work together this year. You will hear me say this many times, but the human experience is an experience to be celebrated. Lets celebrate our lives together!
