Hello
My name is Fredy Alejandro Escobar Maya. I am so glad to introduce myself as an ESL teacher. I am proudly from Mexico. I consider myself to be an enthusiastic, creative, and friendly teacher. Teaching is my passion.

I have worked in public and private schools for almost five years in Mexico, instructing students in middle school and high school. I have a bachelor's degree in English, and I am about to finish my Master´s degree in technology for education. My years of experience have driven me to learn each year from every student and look for the best strategies to help them succeed in the activities in the class and beyond. I plan my classes with a task-based learning approach and presentation, practice and production approach, and taking into account all the background knowledge that children have to connect to the new content and make the curriculum relevant to their lives. The main goal of my class is to make my students confident and enhance them to create a good environment in the classroom because I believe success begins in a place where they feel loved and comfortable.
I love working in a team, and I would like you to be an active participant in every child´s education too. I am looking forward to sharing my culture and traditions with you in the classroom and presenting some of them at a fair or cultural festival. I am looking forward to having fun and learning together!
