Welcome to RISE! My name is Mrs. Stanley and I teach History here at RISE. I am native to Williamsburg, Virginia, where my love of history was fostered. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences and I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching. I earned both degrees from Liberty University, just up the road from Danville. I have a three-year-old goldendoodle named Sooner after the Oklahoma Sooners, two cats and a wonderful husband. I enjoy spending time outdoors, running, biking and even roller blading.
