• Welcome to Ms. Galloway's page. I am excited to teach students mathematics and I look forward to the challenge of helping students succeed in a subject that they may not always like. Below you will find a little information about me. Feel free to reach out to me as we work to help students succeed.

Education: Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Averett College (2000), Master of Education in Mathematics Education from Averett University (2003)

Teaching Experience: The 2023-24 school year will be my 23rd year as a mathematics teacher. Most of that time has been spent teaching high school level courses from Algebra 1 to Advanced Placement Calculus. I have always believed that success in high school math courses begins in middle school (if not earlier) so I've renewed my career by becoming an eighth grade math teacher. I believe that all students can learn and have the right to receive the greatest opportunities for learning and growth that they are willing to receive.

Hobbies: I enjoy arts and crafts; that includes sewing, quilting, crocheting, and painting. I also enjoy traveling and enjoying foods from all cultures.
