Welcome to Miss Hardy's 3rd grade class! 

The 2022-2023 school year marks my 1st year of teaching with Danville Public Schools. I grew up as a military child constantly moving. I moved to Danville from Natchitoches, Louisiana in 2019. I have a Bachelor's in Child & Family Studies from Northwestern State University. I am currently finishing up my Masters in Elementary Education at Walden University. I began my teaching career by interning at Sacred  Heart Catholic School in a kindergarten classroom. I transitioned from that to student teaching at Park Ave Elementary in a 2nd grade classroom.This will be my first year leading and I am excited to see what it brings.

Teaching is my calling and something I have always wanted to do. It is also extremely challenging and I strive to do my best every day.  My parents instilled a strong work ethic in me as well as a love of learning. I bring these values with me to school every day.  With hard work and determination, anything is possible!
