This course will cover the Standards of Learning (SOL) for 6th grade mathematics.  We will be following the guide from the Danville Essential Knowledge & Skills framework (DEKS). Features a variety of activities to extend problem solving and analytical abilities application of math in everyday settings and drills practice in math fundamentals

Hello, My name is Ms. Thomas I am your 6th grade math teacher. I am a first year teacher ready to learn and grow with all of you. 

I am a 2021 graduate of Winston Salem State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration of Business Management. 

I have always enjoyed being able to coach, teach, and support students in every aspect of my life, and now I am actually grateful and able to do inside of my own classroom. My favorite hobbies consist of cooking, managing my own custom dessert business, and being with my family and traveling the world. My favorite color is black. I love Dr Pepper and butterfingers  .
