Welcome to Grove Park Preschool!! We are so excited to have your child in our class :)   My name is Mrs. Smith. I absolutely LOVE teaching preschool!! I have been a teacher for 33 years in the Danville Public Schools. I worked at Park Avenue Elementary School for 28 years until I came to preschool 5 years ago.  My paraprofessional is Mrs. Bass- Jones. She has been in preschool for 9 years. We make an awesome team! We have fun in our classroom every day. We want to make this an interesting, fun, safe, and rewarding year for your preschooler. This year will help to prepare your child for kindergarten.  Three of the focuses of this preschool program are social, emotional, literacy skills and learning through play.
