Dear parents,

Hi! My name is Mrs. Jackson and I am so excited to be your child's preschool teacher and working with you for a fantastic year at Grove Park Preschool. Here at Grove Park Preschool, my teaching team, comprised of myself and Ms. Hairston, will  provide a fun environment to learn about numbers, shapes, the alphabet,experimenting, and so much more.  There will be lots of awesome crafts for them to do, as well.

For the past 16 years, I have enjoyed being a preschool teacher at Grove Park Preschool.  I have also taught kindergarden in Winston-Salem, NC, 3 year olds at the former Families First Child Development Center on the Campus of Danville Community College, and was the preschool teacher at  Schoolfield Elementary before the school system placed me and other preschool teachers at Grove Park..  I was born and raised in Danville, VA and live with my husband and 10 year old son. In my spare time,  I enjoy going to the movies, eating out, playing board games, and taking trips with my family. Having learned to play the piano and violin, I also love singing and dancing to all kinds of music, which is one of  top ways we help your child learn in their class.

I am really looking forward to seeing each and everyone of you and can't wait for our preschool adventure to begin!
