My name is Marianne Oakes. I am an Averett graduate and a Danville native. This is my 19th year at Danville Public Schools. I have been a Johnson gator for 17 years! This is my eleventh year teaching kindergarten. I love teaching our smallest gators! I have always had a passion for working with children and love helping them reach their fullest potential, both socially and academically.
