Welcome back to George Washington High School for the 2023-2024 year.

I am happy you are in my class for Virginia/United States History and/or Virginia/US Government.

Let me introduce myself.  This is my 10th year in the teaching profession, and my 8th year at George Washington High School.  I spent one year at the Pittsylvania County Virginia Regional Alternative School, and one year in Yanceyville, NC at Bartlett Yancey High School.

I am a native of Pittsylvania County, a graduate of Dan River High School, received my Bachelor of Science degree in History and Political Science, Master of Arts in International Relations from Alliant International University in San Diego, and my Master of Arts in Education, Secondary Education from Liberty University.

I am a honarbly discharge serviced member from the United States Marine Corps.  

It is a pleasure to be teaching Virginia/US History and Virginia/US Government here at George Washington High School and have you in my class.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students, and having a fantastic 2023-2024 school year.
