I have been teaching sixth grade going on 9 years at Westwood Middle School.  I am a single mother of two, who are 22 and 19 now, living in Lynchburg where I commute to and from daily.  I possess a BS in Journalism and Public Relations, a Masters of Arts in Teaching, an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and instruction, and am pursuing a PhD in Curriculum Design and Technology.  I enjoy listening to audiobooks on my commute, traveling to new places, and binge-watching.  My favorite candy is Reese's peanut butter cups, I love coffee and Diet Pepsi, have no favorite sports team, and prefer cool weather seasons.
