Hello, 

I'm Mr. Richardson and I couldn't be more excited to be teaching 6th Grade Science this year! I was born and raised in nearby South Boston, but have been living in Danville for the past 10 years. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Go Hokies). I have extensive knowledge of a variety of science and love to pass my knowledge on to those around me. 

My lessons are always lively, and filled with enjoyable activities and, most importantly, my lessons are beneficial to my students. I use various teaching methodologies, props, flashcards, whiteboards, and interactive videos to accomplish the desired goal. I make use of several different approaches, such as Total Physical Response and Communicative, to better convey knowledge to my students.

I am always Polite and Patient with my students and expect that they show me the same Respect.

I look forward to working with you all, and can't wait to see the success you will have this year!
