Name: Mrs. Jessica Haney

Mini Biography: Hello everyone! My name is Mrs. Haney and this is my third year teaching AG 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies at O.T. Bonner Middle School. This will be my eighth year teaching and I LOVE IT! I have my Bachelor of Arts in History from Mary Baldwin University (WOOT WOOT! Go Fighting Squirrels!) and I earned my Masters in Teaching and Learning History as well as my Gifted Education Certificate from Liberty University (Go Flames!). I have a baby boy named Lincoln who is turning one this year!! I also have a dog and three cats that I adore! I am so excited to have students back in the classroom and I think we're going to have an AWESOME year together!

Goals for this year: I want my students to learn something new that makes them better people. I want to inspire my students to be kind and understanding. For Civics and Economics, I want my students to learn how to be good citizens for their communities. For World Geography, I want my students to learn about different cultures that exist outside of their community.
