Hello! I am beginning my 35th year of teaching. 2022-2023 is my third year at Woodberry Hills Elementary.  I am a veteran PreK teacher, having worked in Western New York, Southern California, Pittsylvania County,  Georgia and here at DPS.  I taught 3rd grade for a number of years in Virginia and now find that Second Grade is just right!   I am excited to be your child's teacher, I cannot wait to see them grow this year!

I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York and my BSEd is from SUNY Geneseo, MS in Reading from James Madison University and a Special Education Certificate from Southern Crescent Technical College.

My 4 daughters and 4 grandchildren are the lights of my life and I eagerly await my youngest daughter's wedding in August. My house is filled with books, dogs, kittens and a couple of pet fish.  Some of my favorite things are great books, chocolate, my grandbabies, music, the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills.
