Grove Park Preschool provides a nurturing atmosphere for four-year olds.  Learning experiences are devoted to helping young children make the connection that print and sound are related.  The curriculum is based on the Virginia Foundation Blocks for Early Learning, the standards provided by the Virginia Department of Education. The children develop initial understandings about reading and how it relates to their surroundings.  They learn more about the world around them through:
