Ms. Johnson

Hi everyone!!  My name is Ms. Johnson and this is my fifth year teaching English Language Arts.I look forward to teaching here at George Washington High School this upcoming school year. It is my belief that all students can succeed. I am a firm believer in the 6 C’s of Education: Character, Citizenship, Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking. During this school year you can find daily lessons and activities on Canvas. I am extremely excited about being your child’s teacher. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, it’s truly in my heart.

Here are some interesting facts about me. I am a firm believer that ALL students can learn and grow. As a teacher, I believe that it is important to work with families, co-workers, coaches, administrators, etc to help each student grow to their full potential. My teaching philosophy is Maslow’s before Blooms. My first goal is providing structure, a safe place, and a comfortable learning environment for all students, so then students will be receptive to learning from me.
