DPS Education Foundation relaunches Teacher Grant program

Danville Public Schools Education Foundation is proud to relaunch its Teacher Grant Program, designed to empower educators with funding for creative classroom projects, critical supplies, and enriching learning experiences not otherwise supported by school budgets. Our goal is to enhance student learning by investing directly in the ideas and innovation of our teachers.

Application Guidelines

  • Teacher grant requests must be turned in by the due date to be considered.

  • Teacher grant requests must be filled out completely with an uploaded budget/quotes.  Incomplete grant applications will not be considered.

  • If your grant is approved, you will be notified at the email address provided in the application with further instructions.

  • Teachers must be employed by Danville Public Schools. 

  • Funding must be spent by the deadline.

  • Grant recipients must submit a final grant report indicating the impact the grant had on the students and/or the outcome of the grant project by the due date.

  • Up to $10,000 distributed between multiple grant recipients per school year

  • This grant is not to fund field trips.

  • The grant application cycle will be open each semester, contingent upon the availability of funding.
