About Angela Wimberly

Wimberly holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Design from the University of Virginia and a Postgraduate endorsement in Education Leadership Administration and Supervision from Lamar University. She is currently perusing a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell University. She is also licensed in various educational specialties, including Administration and Supervision PreK-12, Early/Primary Education PreK-3, Elementary Grades 3-6, Gifted Education, Middle Education Grades 6-8, and Reading Specialist. Wimberly has previously served as Director of Recruitment and Retention in the Department of Human Resources with Roanoke City Public Schools. She is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work culture. 

About Andrea Gillus

Andrea Gillus is a graduate of Hampton University in Accounting. She has experience in the private sector as an accountant. Her previous roles in education include contracted consultant, Director of Budget and Operations in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, and Chief Financial Officer at Winston Salem-Forsyth County Schools.

About Dr. Takiwi Milton-Babalola

Dr. Takiwi Milton-Babalola holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University, an Educational Specialist in Teaching and Learning degree, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Augusta State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Paine College. She has certifications in mathematics, gifted education, and leadership. She has 13 years of experience as a math teacher, a professor of mathematics at Paine College, an instructional coach and professional learning facilitator, as well as a K 12 Mathematics Curriculum Coordinator.

About Jo Ellen Hylton

Hylton holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Virginia Tech, a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Virginia, and an Education Specialist degree in Administrator Leadership for Teaching and Learning from Walden University.

Hylton has previously served as a principal in Henry County Schools and Director of Human Resources here at DPS.
