Adult Education / Teen GED
The Adult Career Education Center (ACEC) is where education for work, career and the future comes together. Our mission is to Engage, Educate, and Empower communities of adult learners by advancing literacy skills and employment opportunities to achieve a better quality of life.
We also offer a TEEN GED program. In accordance with the Code of Virginia §22.1- 254D.E., the TEEN GED program prepares qualifying secondary students to earn a high school equivalency (HSE) credential while also developing career and technical skills. The TEEN GED program is designed for those students who are at least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school programs who are having difficulty finding success in a regular classroom environment.
