Graduate of Distinction Guidelines

  • Danville Public Schools will continue the Graduate of Distinction program during the 23-24 academic year. This program recognizes student accomplishments in five categories: academic achievement, attendance, citizenship, community service, and participation in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Students can accumulate points as described on the attached rubric and must accumulate points in each of the five areas.  Students meeting the criteria will be recognized at a special recognition program in May and receive the Graduate of Distinction Medal to be worn at graduation.

Applications, guidelines, and deadlines for the Graduate of Distinction Program are also available in the Guidance Office of your child’s school and on our website here
