Greetings,

My name is DL Hobbs and I am the assigned virtual mathematics instructor for the R.I.S.E Academy.   Nice to Meet You all and Welcome. I reside in a little seaside city known as Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am passionate about online learning and digital instruction in the virtual classroom setting.  Overall, I have worked in the education industry  since 1995, approximately 27 years.   My first job as  a teacher was West Pines Middle grade six...  My best job ever!   As my career progressed in the  industry, I soon obtained work experience as a high school algebra 1 / geometry instructor, math coach and vocational educator.  Educational wise, my conferred fields of study are mathematics specialist, Business administration and computing technology in education.

My guiding work philosophy for education is that achievement in learning is a multi-faceted partnership between learner, instructor, parents, administrators and stakeholders. The learner intrinsically has a willingness to participate in the learning process, and the instructor has the pedagogy to impart the knowledge with effective instruction based upon the learner's perspective and overall approach to engaging a learning process. Acceptable success is inevitable....
