Summer School Kindergarten Jumpstart
Please register your first-time Kindergarten student (without preschool experience) for Danville's Kindergarten JumpStart program. The mission is to ensure children who enter kindergarten are prepared to succeed. Jumpstart’s curriculum provides a deep focus on key areas of literacy, specifically oral language development, including specific attention to social-emotional language skills. Together, these key oral language skills are predictors and leading indicators of later school success, and are able to be implemented well within the Jumpstart program, given our low adult-to-child ratios and individualized interactions.
