Greetings,

My name is Bobbie Bennett, and I am the School Counselor at Park Avenue.  Before joining Danville Public Schools, I worked as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) in Lynchburg and a Mental Health Counselor (MHC) at a residential treatment facility in Danville Virginia.

I graduated from Chatham High School, received an Associate’s Degree in Arts & Sciences/Liberal Arts from Danville Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and a Master’s Degree in Education/School Counseling from Liberty University. 

My role is to collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators and other community partners to promote learning and help students establish and achieve their education, career, and personal goals.
