About Me:

My name is Eva Schellenbach, and I will be your student’s Global Studies or World Geography teacher this year.  My full contact information is below, and I welcome you to reach out to me anytime with questions or concerns.  I am excited to work with your scholar and to share my passion for history with him/her!

A little bit about me … I am new to Danville and O.T. Bonner Middle School, but I am not a new teacher.  As the spouse of a retired U.S. Marine, I moved every 2-3 years and thus learned to take advantage of whatever opportunities came my way.  Although moving frequently was challenging, I was blessed to meet lots of new people who helped me grow personally and professionally.  Some of the places I lived and taught are North Carolina, Hawaii, Okinawa, Israel, and Virginia. 

Class goals:

Introduce students to important global concepts with a focus on culture and geography

Ensure students are able to interpret and analyze maps

Introduce students to environmental issues impacting the world
