My name is Miss DePass. I am an International teacher from the beautiful Caribbean island of Jamaica, and I am proud to work within the Danville Public School system as a 2nd-grade teacher at Schoolfield. Teaching is my passion, and I've developed a philosophy for education that states, "Education, especially special education, should not be treated as a privilege but as a right for all children, despite their color, class, or creed." As a well-rounded educator, I have had the opportunity of teaching a diverse group of students. Additionally, I am a former Nova South Eastern University student, where I received a Master of Science in Exceptional Students' Education.
