Hey guys!!  My name is Ms. Yesalavich and I will be your Career Passports teacher!  I am super excited to introduce you to all types of opportunities that will be available to you as you maneuver through Middle School and beyond.  My goal is for us to have lots of fun getting to know different types of careers and career-related topics, and for you to find an area to focus on as you start to think about your future.  

I am orginally from Halifax County, Virginia, where I taught for 16 years at Halifax County High School.  I then taught at Dan River Middle School for 3 years before joining the Virtual Academy here in Danville in 2021.  

I love spending time with my friends and family, going to the beach, and playing with my dog, Winifred.  I am a sports fan, and my favorite teams are the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Guardians, and the University of Virginia NCAA  teams.
