Pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, the Danville Public Schools has a duty to identify, refer, evaluate and if found qualified, provide a free and appropriate public education to students with disabilities. Through our collective efforts, we will accomplish our goal of meeting the needs of students.

Homebound Services
Homebound instruction is provided for any student who is unable to attend school because of a temporary physical or emotional handicap. Upon request of the student's parent or guardian, and provided such a request is recommended by a physician, homebound services will be provided for the student. A medical form must be completed by a licensed physician or licensed clinical psychologist. The only subjects offered on homebound are English, Math, Social Studies and Science. Services are provided by a certified teacher either in the home or through online instruction.
