Hello! I began teaching at GLH Johnson Elementary in 2007. I enjoy teaching and building student learning. My goal is for every student in my class to feel safe as they grow in knowledge and skills. In my opinion, it is important that all students experience the confidence and pride that comes from being successful. I hope that my students will develop an interest in learning which they can carry on with them in every aspect of life.

   In addition to my BS from JMU, I have a master's from Averett University. I have two children and a dog. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and crocheting while binge watching TV.
