This second year at GWHS, I look forward to welcoming you to an amazing 2022-2023 school year. Like you, I attended GWHS! I graduated many years ago, before the Dental Careers program existed. After graduating from Danville Community College, I attended Guilford Technical College and completed the Dental Assisting program there. After that challenging, learning experience, I made dentistry my life's career. Dental Assisting is an absolute passion of mine!  As I begin my 41st year in dentistry, teaching is now my main focus. My goal is to introduce each student to the world of dentistry. For a student, their high school years are a thrilling time when they embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. I am so glad you chose Dental Careers to explore! The new year is going to provide new skills that will improve and enhance each student's ability to apply learning in many ways. Dental Careers is a challenging and rigorous curriculum that helps each student to develop the skills of an entry-level Dental Assistant, ready for employment in the workforce or knowledge to continue in the field of dentistry. It is an honor and a privilege to be your Dental Careers teacher and I look forward to a wonderful learning experience this year.
