About Your Teacher

Mrs. Wix started teaching in 2010, and joined the Eagles in 2021, as the teacher of the new Culinary Arts program. Raised in Pheonix, AZ, Mrs. Wix went to LA, CA for Fashion Design, then moved to Nashville, TN and continued her education in Family and Consumer Science Education, and moved to Danville in 2010. She was married in 2013, and has four kids. 

Besides educating young adults, Mrs. Wix is passionate about transitioning Family and Consumer Science into a career-focused coursestudy, where students can graduate with a knowledge base that will aid them in the future, whether it is in college or in their career.

  • Office hours

    (Google Meet, or in person) are during my planning period, Fall 2nd block, Spring 2nd block. Before school, 8:00-8:30, and after school 3:30-4:00. Outside these hours, I am best reached through email.
