Although my love for mathematics led me to become a teacher, my love of students has allowed me to remain in education for over 30 years. I am excited about serving the students and GW and strive to ensure that all students have a safe learning space. I was born and still live in Guilford County North Carolina. I am the proud mother of one daughter (Candace Hyman) and the proud grandmother of two grand-daughters (Camryn and Amiyah). When I am not working, I love sewing, traveling, cooking, gardening, and reading.
